MEST is a Pan-African training school, seedfund, incubator and hub for technology entrepreneurs in Africa. The MEST Training school invests in talented and determined entrepreneurs to develop critical skills in software development, business, and communication. The MEST fund further invests in business ideas developed at the training school to support founders in developing and scaling their business.
MEST launched its headquarters in Accra, Ghana in early 2008 as a non-profit organization funded by the Meltwater Foundation, the non-profit arm of Meltwater. MEST is headed by the founder of Meltwater, Jorn Lyseggen.
