Master Planner

Masterplanner for our Global Operations
Located in Silkeborg, reporting to COO, you will take key role in planning and business analysis activities with main focus on manufacturing across all sites.
You will have great influence in how the role develops over time. The tasks spans from supporting strategic decisions on manufacturing footprint to aligning planning processes and tools across the different sites. The position is a key member of the operational management leadership team.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Participate in strategic projects on laying out our manufacturing footprint
- Join new product introduction projects to ensure optimum manufacturing setup
- Establish new procedures and tools for centralized demand estimating and production planning and support local sites with training and mentoring
- Convey and negotiate Master Production Schedule (MPS) to global sites to assure schedule achievability.
- Establish planning calendar to assure standard updates to Master Production Schedule
- Carry out special business data analysis
- Take a lead role in planning meetings with manufacturing sites
- Supervise and report actual results against Master Production Schedule
- Develop and execute inventory control methods and reports to assure accurate inventory levels.
Skills & Requirements
Your professional background
- Min 5 years of planning experience from a relevant industry
- Proven experience working with supply chain, logistics and planning.
- Experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP) and continuous improvement.
- Experience with ERP systems and data gathering and analysis
- Preferably BU<T not a requirement - experience with Power BI/Dynamics365.
