We are looking for four highly motivated, organized and service minded persons to join our Customer service teams in Hong Kong as Customer Support Specialists, three persons for Customer Transactions, one person for Claims support.
Gard is a leading company within marine insurance with offices around the world. Customer service is divided in Customer Transactions and Claims Support teams established in Hong Kong in 2019. Together with the Customer Transactions and Claims support teams at the headquarters in Arendal, Norway, our Customer Transactions Team delivers fast service with high quality to support customers in Asia in respect of Underwriting and the Claims Support Team delivers fast service with high quality for claim reimbursements, routine surveys, and other support tasks both internally and for our members and clients.
You will be a key member in a vibrant and international team.
The role will have the following tasks:
Customer Transaction:
Onboarding of customers
Entering and maintaining client / broker information and policy / premium data
Production and distribution of insurance and invoice documentation
Responding to customer queries
Follow up Customers’ accounts and oustandings
Other administrative tasks in support of Underwriting
Claims support:
Claims payments and related transactions
Compliance and Know your Customer tasks
Claims data registration
Processing and handling of high efficiency claims
Responding to customers queries
Other administrative tasks in support of claims
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
A structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail
Excellent skills using Microsoft Office applications, especially on Excel
Quick to learn systems and procedures
Self-motivated and a team player with improvement mindset
Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
Positive and service-oriented
Excellent written and spoken English. If you also have good verbal in Mandarin / Cantonese / Japanese and written ability in Chinese / Japanese it would be an advantage
