System Engineer

Do you have some Raspberry Pis hosting a Kubernetes cluster somewhere in your apartment that are keeping the household up and running? Are you not afraid to open up a server to figure out whats in there and how everything works?

The opportunity

With Upsales you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest tools available to build out our server platform. We are looking to expand our hosting to a new location and setting our architecture up in a way that will support our product team in delivering new features at a higher pace and allow our sales team to bring in even more customers.

Who are you

  • You have 2+ years of managing VMWare servers
  • A solid understanding of networking

  • Experience in managing Linux servers, MySQL and Elasticsearch

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that our servers have high availability to keep our 99.99% uptime
  • Monitor and implement proactive solutions to problems before they occur
  • Set up new VMs as our product evolves
  • Ensure that our servers and network is secure and up to date
  • Automate all of the above so you can do even more great stuff
