Sogeti are seeking a Scrum Master who has experience working as a scrum master in data projects. The successful candidate must have an aptitude for considering the bigger picture, the knowledge to consider all options, the innovation to select the best solution, and the determination to take the solution to completion, while maintaining a focus on delivering quality and value to the customer.

Facilitate one or more project scrum teams, who are responsible for solution delivery against the definition of done.
Track activities, remove impediments, manage, and escalate risks and changes on a daily basis.
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration across cross functional teams.
Facilitate and develop Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Planning, Review, Backlog Refinement, Retro etc.), and other workshops.
Drive project scrum team backlog refinement and burndown, measure Scrum team velocity and capacity, make sprint estimations with the team, plan sprints and deployment schedules.
Introduce new methodologies and mentor team members and managers about Agile principles.
Measure, track, and review team deliver and quality against clearly define definition of done.
Improve team effectiveness through retrospectives.
Lead the team in estimating work, detailing requirements, identifying dependencies and priorities.
Escalate points for team issues when they occur with involvement of PM and Team Leads.
Continually evaluate new tools, procedures, and processes for the opportunity to improve and keep pace with an effective development methodology.
Build and maintain positive relations with team, client, and partners.
The suitable candidate will possess most of the following:
3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
Scrum Master certification is a must.
Experience as an Agile Coach is a plus.
Appropriate experience and understanding of data analytics concepts, architecture, solution design and systems (e.g. Power BI, AWS/Google Cloud, SQL).
Programming and technical skills (Python / R) would be a plus.
Excel at using project management software tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Ms Project.
Self-motivated, proactive, innovative, and driven to achieve desired results.
Strong communication, collaboration, planning, prioritisation, reporting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to lead and influence teams in adopting the Agile principles while ensuring the correct use of Scrum / Kanban processes.
The ability to succeed when not measured by individual output but the output of an entire team.
The applicant must be an excellent team player and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
