Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Master Data Specialist to join our passionate team in Skellefteå.
The Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and updating Master Data to support the Digitalization and Production efforts at Northvolt. They collaborate with the business team to facilitate the introduction of new products and maintain the existing Northvolt Master Data Systems.
You will be part of a team of Master Data Specialists Globally and work together with them in projects, initiatives and general operations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
Locally support and facilitate the development and implementation of the enterprise master data strategy
An active member of Data Governance groups to decide and align master data-related topics from the local environment
Align and coordinate efforts between global and local master data initiatives
Drive and operationalize the definition of processes, procedures, and standards for the master data domain
Ensure that master data is properly managed by the business and supported by IT applications
Identify local master data-related issues, gaps and inconsistencies between systems and processes related to data, including adoption-related challenges and support businesses in issue resolution
Capture data needs related to local business processes
Facilitates the coordination and change management of improvements between IT applications and impacted business areas
Measures, monitors, and supports the business to correct and improve data quality at Northvolt ETT
The person we are looking for is flexible, curious and eager to learn. You should have a sound knowledge of business processes within the manufacturing industry and experience working with ERP Processes and Masterdata Management.
We believe that you have
Master or Bachelor in IT or Engineering
3-5 years of relevant work experience (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)
Experience in working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc.)
Has preferably worked in a similar business area and interfaced with multiple stakeholders
Familiar with ERP applications
Specific skills
Experience working in Master Data Management
Prior working knowledge of Master Data Management solutions, PLM/ERP (Dynamics 365/SAP/Maximo) systems is advantageous
Experience in process development and requirement gathering is preferred
Basic understanding of data visualization tools
Ability to map complex scenarios and explain them visually.
