Do you want to build a company from the ground up, own your work and make long-term financial planning available to people with various backgrounds?

Plutify is looking for a Front-end developer to join the company as a Co-founder!

About the company

Plutify aims to bring the knowledge and tools required to do accurate long-term financial planning into the hands of individuals regardless of their mathematical or economic background. To do this Plutify is creating a financial projection tool box based on historic trends and present data.

Plutify will specialize in smoothly onboarding users with various experience levels and growing the complexity of projections together with increasing the users’ confidence in their financial literacy. Our tool box users will be able to

1) intuitively input and analyze their information,

2) project their future finances, and

3) simulate different spending and saving scenarios and analyze possibilities.

This tool box will be accessible to users for free on our platform and as white labeled tools through other financial service providers.

During the past few months we’ve created a landing page with a simple projection calculator, ran a customer validation experiment, iterated our business plan, planned our MVP, and got accepted into the KTH Innovation Pre-incubator program.

About the team

The Plutify team consists of three KTH graduates from the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management program. The co-founders have diverse backgrounds in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Molecular Science.

About the role

We are looking for a front-end developer who wants to become a co-founder of Plutify. Currently the platform is being developed using a React-based front-end framework, Next.js. Additionally, we use open-source React components like React-Bootstrap and React-Chartjs-2 are used and the majority of the code is written in JavaScript with some additional TypeScript and Python code.

The working hours for this position are flexible and up for discussion. Currently the team is working on Plutify part-time with expectations to transition into full-time in the future.

As a Front-end developer you will be responsible for:

• Developing the front-end

• Architecture and tooling for front-end development

• Maintenance of the front-end

As a Co-founder you will be active in:

• Working with other co-founders to decide on the company's direction

• Participating in growing the start-up

  • Developing the front-end team
  • Other startup-related activities

In the next couple of months we aim to launch our MVP. Your work will be essential in making that happen!
