As an Azure Data Engineer you will join our team of Scandinavia's leading Data, Analytics & AI experts, which gives us the right competence to help our customers succeed on their journey towards data-driven decision-making. We are all passionate about data!

What You’ll Do

Insights & Data is a large team of specialists, and we offer different types of services - consulting, development of digital strategies and roadmaps, design and implementation of AI, Analytics and Data Management solutions. Of course, supported by cloud architecture and cyber security.

The position as Data Engineer will provide you the opportunity to work in a team-based environment together with other colleagues specialized within the same field as yourself.

As a Data Engineer, you will help our clients towards data-driven decision-making, by developing optimal technical solutions.

We are partners with different providers of technical platforms and tools such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS & Google Cloud, hence you will be given the flexibility to work both with a variation of both technologies and clients. We work in a broad field in just about every industry and have a mix of projects.

Your workday will consist of different tasks such as:

• Preparing data for analytical or operational uses and build data pipelines to bring together data from different source systems - to facilitate analyzing data at scale
• Structure, integrate, consolidate and cleanse data

• Work closely with data science teams, improving data transparency and enabling businesses to make more trustworthy business decisions

• Collaboration with skilled colleagues and our clients

Who You Are

To be able to be successful in the role we believe that you come from a strong Data Engineering experience.

You need to have:

• Minimum 2 years of cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ETL-tools such as Azure Data Factory
• Experience in Data Lake or Lakehouse Architecture
• Excellent SQL syntax skills
• Information- and Data Warehouse modeling
• Good skills in code versioning such as GIT GitHub, DevOps

It is not required, but an advantage if you also bring:

• Experience from platform modernization
• Experience from Tabular cubes and DAX
• Databricks
• Snowflake
• Experience in Snowpro, Matillion or DBT
• Data vault modeling
• Agile work process
