The Business Development Representative role at Meltwater is a fast-tracked position to develop a career in Sales & Marketing. Your responsibility is to identify, cultivate and convert new business opportunities for our AE team; qualifying opportunities from our inbound marketing funnel, and nurturing high-value outbound opportunities. Your two success metrics are meetings booked and revenue contributed to the sales org.

Prospect, identify, and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects
Lead qualification & conversion to sales opportunities from outbound incentives
Outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaign creation, and execution
Track and forecast sales activities
KPIs based on opportunities created and conversion rates
Proactively look for improvements in lead management and other sales & marketing processes
Keep abreast of new product features, updates in partnerships, customer success stories, and trends
