About the Senior Media Analyst, Client Insights
As the Senior Media Analyst in our team, you will be a crucial member of our global Professional Services organization.

Your primary responsibility as a Senior Media Analyst is to work with client insight Japan on the pre-sales and delivery stages of client report projects.

The Senior Media Analyst will support the development of complex solutions by using in-depth product knowledge and provide technical expertise to our sales teams and the customer through state-of-art solution delivery with internal process optimization.

The Senior Media Analyst will resolve problems through research, and consulting with internal stakeholders, to identify the appropriate methods and resources for success. Support commercial-related activities including, but not limited to, deal structuring and work closely with our legal teams to ensure all contracts are accurate.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with the In-country Director and Project Managers on the delivery stage for complex deals that include Professional Services Offerings, including but not limited to:
    • Manually curated newsletters, Bespoke reports and all other professional services
      products
    • Horizon planning activities
  • Understanding, communicating and interpreting clients’ requirements and business processes by:
    • Undertaking mapping exercises to understand the profile of prospective
      professional service clients and ensure our services and offerings meet their
      requirements
    • Developing a sound understanding of Meltwater business use cases, so as to apply those learnings to new processes
  • Support Professional Services with internal learning experiences and PR/Marketing/Branding/Research etc industry knowledge
  • Preparing collaterals & educational decks for sales and professional services, creating visual templates, and sharing relevant case studies
  • Work collaboratively with regional sales, client success and other support organizations to make sure of the client’s satisfaction through the journey with Meltwater’s digital insights
  • Facilitate and coordinate the sharing of use cases from individual sales reps to the whole Enterprise team
  • Possible to work adjusted work hours when the project requires to cover QC processes for daily manual newsletters between 7:00-9:00, with prior agreement
Skills & Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) with strong academic results and several years of relevant industry or academic experience
  • Excellent written and spoken Japanese and English
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Very proficient in using Microsoft Excel, powerpoint, word and Google suites
  • Some familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI will be useful
  • Passion for entrepreneurship & technology, the SaaS industry & media intelligence, and you should be a regular consumer of the news/media
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, initiative, and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
