Reports to: Global Online & Digital Sales Director

Location: Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London

Working pattern: Flexible remote working up to three days per week

Department: Group Sales

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

General Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and process driven individual to join our growing sales team. Working collaboratively across the Online and Sales operations team, as well as being a key member of the wider UK sales team, the successful candidate will take ownership of the online supply chain, management of inventory, as well as the responsibility for all online sales reporting & analysis business wide. They will not only build successful systems for tracking and identifying sales opportunities but will also be responsible for originating new sales strategies using the insight they bring to the business, hand in hand with the Global Online & Digital Sales Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of the Amazon supply chain
  • Responsibility for the eBook publishing programme, working closely with Ops, editorial & production to ensure all eBooks are live on publication date
  • Ownership of online sales reporting as well as identifying sales patterns, analysing data & creating actions to improve our online performance
  • Monitor eBook pricing & implement promotional pricing where required
  • Ability to liaise with any issues in relation to supply chain management across print & digital
  • Build strong working relationships with the publishing teams and assist with developing plans to drive strategy forward from a sales perspective

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to think analytically and apply forward thinking
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • An interest and curiosity about the digital marketplace
  • A strong eye for detail and previous experience of working with an online supply would be advantageous
  • The ideal candidate would ideally have a minimum 18 months experience working in a sales or operational support role & sees a long term future career in either sales operations and/or online and digital sales.
