We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Consultant to join the Mercer Career team in Espoo. Mercer’s Career consultants help clients to manage, reward and engage talent to drive business performance. Clients can include executives, board members and HR professionals. The team’s approach provides in-depth analytics and data-driven insights that support clients make fact-based decisions.
As a Junior Consultant, you will work in a team of experienced consultants. The team has a broad range of internal and external clients in various industries. You are involved in different projects in the areas of e.g., workforce rewards, talent mobility and talent management. You will participate in all stages of projects from analyzing to designing and implementing the solutions. In your daily work you will e.g. perform analysis, collect and analyze data, participate in client meetings and advise clients on day-to-day issues regarding Mercer products, services and solutions. Experience working with similar tasks is naturally a benefit but more importantly, we are looking for a curious and persistent team player who enjoys working with clients and taking ownership of their own work.

We require you to have:
Suitable academic degree (e.g., in the fields of business, economics or other relevant degree) or your currently finishing your studies
Commercial mindset and interest to learn more in workforce rewarding
An efficient, precise and flexible way to work while reaching your deadlines
Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with solid Excel skills
Great collaboration and communication skills in English and in Finnish (verbal and written) - You’re a talented team player and enjoy working with internal and external stakeholders
We consider as an asset:
Previous relevant work experience (e.g., in analytical tasks, consulting or other client facing roles)
Experience in performing and analysing large volumes of data
Visual skills and PowerPoint expertise
