Northvolt is now looking for a Product Owner to help steering the data automatisation process in our growing T&V Engineering team in Västerås. This is your chance to contribute to the development of the world's greenest and most sustainable Li-ion battery cell by shaping the validation data flow.

The Test and Validation team is working directly with customer projects and cell development to ensure the excellent performance & safety of Northvolt's products – batteries. Increasing amount of test demands generate huge amounts of data, which needs to be stored, processed, visualised, and summarised in an efficient way.

As a Product Owner in the T&V Engineering team, you have the key objective of driving the development of products for ensuring an efficient data management workflow within our testing facilities.

You will be responsible for defining problem statements, gathering requirements, identifying opportunities, and prioritising activities. The product owner represents the voice of the customer and provides guidance to the team in terms of clarity and focus while ensuring products' strategy and vision. You are responsible for the “what” and “why” and work closely with the teams who are responsible for the “how”.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with users and clients to identify/understand and anticipate needs, and translated into product requirements
  • Create, oversee, and adapt activities within the products roadmap
  • Be the contact person regarding information on features, requirements, training, and timelines
  • Manage and prioritise backlog activities based on changing requirements and expectations
  • Communicate data strategy and existing/future capabilities of products within the validation data life cycle

You are organised, pragmatic and keep an overview when working on different tasks. Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Project Manager
  • Previous working experience in the domain of software/data science/engineering
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, MS Project & Confluence)
  • Good communication skills. You can communicate fluently and humbly (in English) with all types of different humans choosing effective methods based on context, audience, and purpose.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working with systems such as ERP, MES or PLM
  • Knowledge in data storage, processing and computing technologies
  • Fluency in other languages (Korean, Swedish, German)
  • Experience in multicultural, start-up environment
