Haglöfs AB is now recruiting an assistant store manager to Haglöfs Outlet at Hede Fashion Outlet in Kungsbacka, Sweden. The position is a full time temporary position from beginning of January to end of December 2023, with chance for extension.
As Assistant Store Manager, you will play an important part in contributing to Haglöfs’ continued success, by sharing your experiences and advise on our products for our customers. The tasks will primarily consist of driving the daily operations in the store together with your colleagues. In more detail you will be responsible for:

  • Sales in the store, providing excellent customer service building on own knowledge and understanding of Haglöfs products

  • Unpacking and price marking of products

  • Handling incoming products and making sure the store looks attractive

  • Exposure of products and Visual merchandising

  • Handling of incoming complaints

  • Keep up to date and informed about products and store routines

  • Staying informed about campaigns and sales activities

The role also has the responsibility to support the Store Manager with her/his duties whenever needed and in case of the Store Manager’s absence take the full responsibility as Store Manager during the period. In more detail you will/will be:

  • Responsible for managing the store according to Haglöfs guidelines and principles

  • Lead the team and ensure good cooperation and teamwork between staff members

  • In charge of scheduling and planning

  • Responsible for the inventory

  • Ensure that the visual merchandising is executed according to our guidelines

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for a true outdoor enthusiast with a genuine interest and knowledge to be able to advise on our products for our customers. High product knowledge and social skills is essential for this role. We are looking for you who aspires to develop within retail, and are/have:

  • Strong sense of responsibility and well organized

  • Self-driven with a flexible approach

  • Teamplayer

  • Leadership and teambuildning skills

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 3-5 years experience as store sales representative, preferably within outdoor

  • Ability to drive sales

  • Understanding of the flow of goods and inventory management

  • Computer skills

  • English language skills

  • Understanding of Outdoor
