Overall Responsibility

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our Benelux and DACH Sales Team, based out of the Netherlands. Our ideal candidates will thrive when being challenged and is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. If you are eager to work with smart people to solve complex problems, then we are looking forward to hearing from you! Our Sales Manager’s focus will be solely on creating new revenue by selling to new customers and extending the usage of nShift products to our current Partner base already in place within the Ecom, ERP or WMS marketspace. You will work in close cooperation with Business Development Representatives, our Global marketing team and Global Account managers to find new opportunities and have the support of technical Pre-Sales, Professional services-team and others in closing them. You will be joining nShift at a pivotal period, the business is going through some exciting transformation after the merger of five leading SaaS companies within the industry, making us a true market leader in our space.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in meeting quotas towards the SaaS-Software product market in direct Sales. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from identified opportunity until you hand over to the account executives. If you are motivated and results driven, and enjoy working in an energetic team environment, we’d like to meet you. Our customers are big Retailers, Wholesalers, 2/3/4PL’s where we deliver end to end solutions across Ecommerce, ERP, WMS, and supply chain operating out of the Benelux and DACH markets.. If this is your sweet spot, we want you to join us!!

The area of responsibility includes:

  • Develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximize sales opportunities
  • Grow and manage a quality pipeline of existing and new strategic partners
  • Meet and exceed quota across KPI’s in assigned regions and product portfolio
  • Together with pre-sales, verify the customers technical requirements
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services from the nShift portfolio
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Negotiate and close deals with mid-segment & enterprise sized companies within Retail/wholesale sector and towards the warehousing and logistics industry (2PL, 3PL & 4PL)
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/ services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Maintain a healthy administration in salesforce of all your partners, new business sales, contact and contract management


  • Energetic & proactive approach. Flexible mindset and can-do-let’s-go! attitude.
  • Experience in Direct sales, partner sales is key and knowledge on channel marketing and business development a nice to have
  • Logistics & Supply Chain know-how, particularly Ecommerce WMS, ERP, systems from local heroes to large industry players.
  • History of successfully selling SaaS solutions
  • Successful record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles and interacting with senior executives, ability to understand a customers or merchant end2end flow.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and partner meetings, trade shows and special projects
  • Strong relationship management and networking abilities on different organizational levels.
  • Willingness to adapt to customer and organizational needs.
  • Know what Salesforce Hygiene is and live by that standard.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • English and Dutch in verbal and written (C1) is a must. German and French language skills is a bonus
  • Ability to be independent and work collective within a team
  • Capability to organise, prioritise and execute various activities and focus areas to maximize growth.

10 months with great pleasure! With experience of over 15 years in the payment and ecommerce industry and building and selling complex software products in the past, I moved into the Global partnership role in nShift early 2021. I recently was asked to lead the Benelux sales team and to build out a great sales team, so please join my journey!
