Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Bid Manager to join our Bid Management Team here at Capgemini Belgium.

As the bids you will be driving forward will be IT focused, we are looking for someone from a similar background who has delivered IT/Tech bids, preferably in the public sector.


  • To finalize and submit winning proposition to the client and to manage the external communications and interactions with the client during bid process along with the Sales Lead.
  • Challenges overall strategy for Bid team including pre-Sales activities in co-operation with cross-discipline and onshore colleagues for qualification meetings, presentations, and proposal presentations.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering bids to multiple clients and external audiences, under pressure and to fixed deadlines
  • Support the development of the sales and bid processes and provide best in class bid support to the teams
  • Ensure that the win rate is maximized through the appropriate and timely engagement of sales commercial and subject matter experts in the bid process
  • Project manager for mid-sized bids, to identify bid risks and manages bid related partners and third-party advisory
  • Develop bid plans in liaison with the sales lead and solution owner and be responsible for managing them through to conclusion
  • Write and/or edit/review customer proposal documents
  • Ensure the overall consistency of the bid strategy
  • Identify value drivers fitting with client and opportunity situation, develop value messaging and positioning based on joint value creation
  • Ensure quality of the proposition both written and presented at orals


  • Proven experience in a similar role (5 years minimum)
  • Customer focus, value, end to end ownership/responsibility
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. French would be considered as an asset
  • Communicative, rigorous, and organized
  • Capacity to work in autonomy
  • Experience with Public Sector bids is an asset
