Your Key Responsibilities.

In collaboration with data scientists and major client stakeholders, you will build data pipelines on our cloud platform and will contribute to bring our data projects to life. You will work with clients as part of a dynamic team environment where there is amplitude for personal development (trainings, conferences, certifications, etc.) and help transform the data strategy.

• Implementing our data engineering, machine learning and API projects. This includes but is not limited to cloud architectures, containers, serverless, pipelines and code reviews
• Defining and implementing relevant controls to secure cloud workloads and associated processes
• Promoting an automation approach to ensure consistent and transparent execution (test automation, code review etc.)
• Representing a trusted liaison with product teams, group Cybersecurity and group Technology
• Being autonomous and proactive; able to understand functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and suggest improvements

What we expect from you.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in a major cloud platform, ideally GCP certified
• Good understanding of the foundation blocks of Google cloud highly desirable
• Coding experience in one or more general purpose languages (Java, Python, R)
• Hands-on technical expertise in Security, Architecture, Automation, Integration, and Deployment (DevOps methodology)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code automation with Terraform and GIT
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow / GCP Composer, DBT and container technologies
• Agile and DevOps experience, with a proactive iteration approach to ways of working and ability to suggest and implement best practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to share technical ideas in business-friendly language; fluent in English and French
