Are you the one that wants to make a difference and can handle multiple tasks at work?

Duties and responsibilities

  • Be a part of the 24/7 schedule changes duty phone rotation and be first point of contact towards ship and Maritime Operations in case of irregularities

  • Handle guests affected by any kind of irregularities in cooperation with the team

  • Prioritize and execute tasks with high integrity, be proactive and empowered to take decisions within the framework of Hurtigruten terms & conditions, transportation conditions, country specific package tours act.

  • Handle pre & post voyage complaints for the Nordic market to ensure best possible guest experience.

  • Act according to procedures, Terms & Conditions and Package Travel Act.

  • Be a part of the Next of Kin crisis team

  • Be the expert on Package Travel Act Regulative.

  • Other tasks can be added to the function

Qualifications

  • Experience within customer service and travel industry
    Experienced within customer rights and package travel law.
  • Experienced in handling challenging guests and situations
    Good IT knowledge in usage of IT tools such as MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Bi-Lingual with Norwegian and English preferred (German and/or French in addition is a plus)

  • Good understanding of the Hurtigruten organization and products

  • Experience in crisis management tools, booking tools and onboard systems such as Fidelio is an advantage.

  • Show initiative and be action oriented and structured during challenging and unpredicted situations
