Job Description

As a Data Engineer in Vaimo’s BI (business intelligence) team, you’ll be responsible for internal business tools (GoodData, internal finance reports system) — platforms for business intelligence, that collect information from numerous internal programs (ERPs, Sales reports, finance planning tools, project management tools, HRIS). You will specifically help in developing new features from the backlog and maintaining current functionality. You will work closely with the Vaimo financial department.

  • We do Support - we support users and assist them in creating new integrations and metrics

  • We do Reporting in data visualisation tool - GoodData

Our technology stack

  • Python and PHP components

  • Google Cloud Platform services (especially BigQuery) and Kubernetes

  • GoodData for data visualisation

Skills & Requirements
  • Experience as a PHP and/or Python developer, preferably in data analytics projects

  • Experience working with REST API and SQL

  • Readiness to work independently

  • Interest in Data Engineering and design of analytics platforms

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Services (BigQuery) and Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with dimensional data modelling and data visualisation tools like GoodData, PowerBI or Tableau

  • Experience working with tools like Docker and git

  • Experience with design and implementation of ETL processes and tools (such as CloudConnect/CloverDX or similar)
