We’re in the business of helping our clients increase their business through experiences. Our business is rooted in commerce and content technology, but we meet an increased need from our clients to help them strategize, plan, and execute digital and growth activities/programmes that will help them accelerate their digital ambitions.
Our Strategy & Growth Consulting Practise
The practice consists of three competence areas, Strategy, Growth Consulting and Digital Marketing.
Strategy, build and digital strategy and digital transformation programmes. Everything from doing operational/capabilities assessments to doing inspirational sessions for c-levels
Growth Consulting, securing the revenue of tomorrow by acting as a commercial sounding board for e-commerce managers/directors, executing tactical projects and growth optimizations to increase conversion and retention
Digital Marketing, SEO/SEM services to increase acquisitions (only in selected markets)
There’s currently 16 consultants in the practice, and we expect the team to double within the next 12 months. The team is part of our global Consulting & UX practise with 50 members across Strategy, Experience Design and Solution Consulting.
Examples of what you would do as a Global Head of Strategy?
Being a senior capacity in the field of digital and/or commerce strategy, supporting consultants on key client engagements where required, coaching, co-drive workshops e.g.
Define the direction of our the practise together with our Chief Strategy Officer
Drive strategic initiatives on services, offerings, and value propositions
Foster collaboration, and knowledge sharing through competence pods, competence development programmes between our global teams
Together with peers, such as Global Heads of Solution Consulting, Experience Design and Discovery, helping to improve how we work across competence lines into shared methodologies
Run Demand generation activities, such as webinars, speaks at conferences and other marketing activities, getting Vaimo known for our strategy/consulting capabilities
We don’t know exactly who you are, but we think you might be a visionary and ambitious person with a practical digital strategy consulting background. Maybe you love tacos and beer, or perhaps you prefer a poké bowl and sparkling water - we don’t really care, as long as you are happy to work with a bunch of unique and driven people.
What we will be looking for is somebody who:
Have experience with building and executing Digital Transformation programmes, OR - somebody who is strong on commerce strategy
Are experienced in facing C-level executives, and can spark interesting conversations
Have a good commercial acumen of the “mechanics” of a business
Are a hands-on practitioner
Have the personal qualifications, and desire to inspire and lead a team of highly skilled professionals
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
You will report to our Chief Strategy Officer and be a dotted line manager to market strategy heads and team-leads. You will play a key role in how we work and drive value for our clients and our strategic positioning moving forward.
You should expect 20-25 travel-days per year. Mainly within EMEA.
