Application Developer / SharePoint
Sword Technologies is seeking to recruit a high caliber, energetic individual to join our Software Development team, being based in Malta, as a SharePoint Developer. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in large International Information Systems. What you will do...
• Development and maintenance of applications based on SharePoint add-in model and SharePoint Online.
• Maintenance and new Developments of an Intranet based in SharePoint Online
• Implementation of user requirements
• Writing of technical documentation
• Deployment and configuration of systems
• Follow established processes for configuration and release management to ensure that all project artefacts are managed, integrated and versioned according to standards
• Participation in meetings with the project teams
What is your experience...
• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience• Web technologies and web design (e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)
•Solid experience with SharePoint Online
• Modern SharePoint development including the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PnP Site Provisioning Engine, MS Graph and REST.
• Interface Design, Front End Development and maintenance/development for Public facing sites and/or Intranets based on SharePoint Online
• Client-side JS frameworks such as React, Handlebars, Knockout, Angular, and Vue.js.
• Azure DevOps and GIT for source code versioning and automated deployment.
• Impact of Information Architecture and site structure on usability, security and findability.
• Scripting and/or Microsoft .NET development experience
And in addition for tasks in the following areas that could be required:
• Web technologies and web design (e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)
• Advanced Microsoft SharePoint or equivalent
• SQL server database structures, procedural programming and development of SSIS packages
• Power Platform
• MS Teams development
• Traditional SharePoint on-premises managed code development
• SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell
• Work closely with non-technical business users and transform their requirements into easy to manage SharePoint online solutions.
• Translating a final design into a finished SharePoint web presence
