About This Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and leading a fast-moving global BDR and SDR organization with responsibilities around hiring, coaching, managing the day-to-day operations, retaining top talent, measuring performance, and overall strategy and partnership with the marketing and sales leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Be an integral partner in the strategy around demand generation, being collaborative with marketing and sales leadership.
  • Work with marketing and sales leadership to develop organizational goals, and support facilitation of annual planning processes
  • Align with marketing and sales leadership to strategically and predictably fill pipeline with qualified prospects and customers for their territories
  • Manage the execution of the overall strategy for inbound and outbound engagement
  • Ensure KPIs are being hit on a weekly and monthly basis by conducting regular assessment of progress regarding weekly and monthly forecasts
  • Responsible for coaching and training the BDR and SDR talent track by monitoring people in line for promotion and enabling others to progress in their career
  • Effectively lead managers to exceed their team goals and pipeline
  • Work strategically with Field Marketing to create prospecting and ABM campaigns
  • Upgrade and iterate on current procedures and playbooks based on team performance
  • Monitor, support and coach business development representatives with cold calling, prospecting, follow-up calls and booking meetings.
  • Conduct performance management reviews to ensure direct reports are developing and that goals and expectations are aligned

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in business/sales development at a SaaS company
  • 2 years of experience in team leadership including performance management
  • Be data-driven and well versed in technology platforms, such as Salesforce, Outreach etc. to extract insights for the company’s GTM
  • A strong track record of success developing high performing teams
  • Ability to identify and recommend areas for improvement in processes and productivity
  • Possess a passion for developing talent and supporting the team to progress in their careers
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & willing to lead from the front
  • Experience leading change initiatives
  • Analytical and data oriented across a variety of sales & business metrics
