Operating from beautiful barns in rural Northamptonshire, our production team is looking for a self-motivated and highly organised shipping co-ordinator to support the international shipping manager with a variety of administration and reporting tasks. This is THE perfect role for someone looking to begin a career in logistics.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting the international shipping manager with all relevant administration processes
  • Ensuring internal systems are updated and maintained accurately
  • Creating and updating manifests for UK warehouse
  • Receipting stock on arrival to UK/US warehouse
  • Requesting all relevant documentation from suppliers
  • Check import documentation via Freight Forwarder portal to ensure accurate information

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Some Freight/Logistics knowledge preferred but not essential as full training will be delivered
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Excellent time management skills as reporting is time sensitive
  • Excellent communication skills inc. the ability to build good working relationships with our external suppliers
  • Adaptable and able to work on multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
