We are looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Health Safety Environment (HSE) team based in Västerås. By joining us, you will be a key player in contributing to a great safety culture and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job and team

As Health and safety coordinator you will support the area management with implementation of Northvolt policies, guidelines and procedures within health, safety and environment. The HS(E) coordinators work closely with, and will be trained by, the HSE department at Labs, Västerås.

In general we see that you have experience from HSE questions from process and/or manufacturing industry.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Practical HSE control measure implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance audits.
  • Management of accidents, incidents etc.
  • Capability development
  • Policy implementation

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Relevant University grade a plus but can be replaced by industry experience
  • Ability and interest in helping others grow
  • Interest in HSE, machine and production line development
  • Avid reader and constant learner
  • Data driven problem solver
