Northvolt Revolt is right now looking for a product manager who will secure that we have the best customer experience with regards to battery recycling. You will learn and understand what our internal and external needs are to make sure we have the best digital offering. You will be given the opportunity to lay out the digital strategy with a tight connection to our customers and internal requirements. We also see that you are a vital part in the concept design and taking the role as our stakeholder in the development of our solution.

About the job

The digital offering is a vital part of making the world’s greenest battery and it is important that you take an active role in fitting this par into the big picture for battery recycling. For example, we are building one of the first European large-scale lithium-ion battery recycling plant and the research and development we do have a direct impact into this.

The daily work within this role includes gathering the needs, setting the roadmap and providing the fundament for the best user experience of our digital offering.

In general you have a long experience in the field and have been part in driving large, innovative and challenging production development projects with high demands on industrialisation and scaling.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer relationships

  • Product management

  • Requirements gathering

  • User experience

  • Being the focal point in the development of digital offering.

  • Develop, maintain and implement the automation system in the factory.

  • Be part of the team that will give our operations team the tools to run the most advanced and efficient production factory in the world.

  • Participate in R&D activities for piloting of new technologies and their suitability to production environments

  • Participate in education and knowledge transfer workshops

  • Cost estimations for projects and change requests. Provide input for quoting and planning works

  • Participate in and contribute towards design forums and improvement meetings for technical improvement and optimization of processes

Skills & Requirements


  • Master degree in User experience, Industrial economy, Electronic/Computer
  • Engineering, Information Systems, Computing, Software Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience with product management and concept development
  • Track record of being innovative
  • Proven capability to harvest the result from the research community and state of the art.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation (Requirement specifications, Information models, Concept design, UML, etc. )

Bonus points for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural diverse environment
