Enterprise Cloud/FinOps Engineer to Cloud Governance Team
Join us in our journey to enable and accelerate usage of cloud infrastructure for all our exciting brands in the Schibsted family.
Schibsted is a company of well known brands with many autonomous dev ops teams responsible for their own infrastructure under common central agreements. Cloud Governance team governs those agreements and public cloud usage. You will become a key member of this small tight team on a FinOps journey. As the Enterprise Cloud/FinOps Architect, you will be a vital part in driving and leading the future enterprise cloud architecture and FinOps practices for Schibsted.
You will be working closely with cloud operations/dev ops teams across Schibsted and 3rd party vendors. Together with our Security and Finance teams you will ensure secure and cost effective architecture and processes.
As part of a dynamic and exciting IT environment, you will be collaborating with many people in different brands and positions in Schibsted - it is important that you are communicative and a real team player. This is a fast evolving area so you need to have a willingness to learn and be open to trying out new things. This role includes use of a variety of cloud services in AWS and GCP.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Drive & define enterprise cloud strategies, be a key stakeholder in building cloud roadmaps
Drive our Enterprise Cloud journey from an architectural point of view, i.e. account structures, central roles and permissions sets, general baseline account configuration etc
Set strategies for and implement automation to reduce manual tasks
Help define and set architectural KPIs for cost optimization
Lead and implement cloud deliveries
Evaluate public cloud providers
