As Test Automation Engineer you will be engaged in projects at our customers. You will be a trusted advisor at the client with the support of the whole community of Sogeti behind you. You will be able to deepen your knowledge about the different tools, approaches and frameworks. For those of you who have more experience, you will be involved in pre-sales activities and creating offers for our partners. You are able to convince our clients on how test automation should be approached and carried out. In your daily life you will work on the following tasks in a self-supportive way:
Be the internal SPOC at Sogeti for all test automation related activities (technical support, presentations, solution architect, proposal writing, training)
Installing, configuring, and upgrading test tools
Aligning test automation activities with the manual test process
Creation and maintenance of automated scripts and applying the latest scripting techniques
Running all automated scripts and monitoring and assessing the execution results
Responsible for setting up data, tools and databases to support integrated test environments

Your profile – Skills & Experiences (in accordance with your level)
Higher Education (Bachelor - Master level),
Starting as of 1 year experience in testing of computer systems and test automation
You have knowledge of and experience with various test tools such as UFT, Performance Center, Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, Jmeter, Appium, Cucumber, FitNesse, Tricentis TOSCA, etc..
You have knowledge of various development practices (V-model, scrum, TDD, CI, DevOps,…)
You have knowledge of and experience with a structured test automation process
You have knowledge of and experience with DevOps/CI tools such as Maven, Github, Jenkins,…
You have experience in structured programming (Java, C++, Perl, Python,…)
Your technical background, communication skills and flexible attitude allow you to gain the trust of our customers
You combine self-organization with teamwork
You have a high problem-solving attitude
You have a true consultancy mindset advising and helping the clients to start and accelerate on test automation
You have an eye for quality and detail and are very accurate in your work
You have strong communication skills and can adapt your communication style to a specific audience
You show stress resistance, work independently and take initiatives
