Welcome to Rovio!

We are looking for a Senior Game Programmer to join our newly-formed MMO Studio in London, UK.

Rovio’s London studio is the latest addition to the Rovio family and this is a great chance to be part of creating a culture and a game from a fresh start. Here in London we have a fantastic creative and commercial brief and the enthusiastic backing of one of the undisputed global leaders of mobile F2P gaming. And true to Rovio’s Nordic heritage, we are committed to providing a real work/life balance, support for family life, and excellent opportunities for learning and personal development.

For this role, you’ll need to be as happy working with early game ideas and turning them quickly to working prototypes, as you are creating finished, polished code. You will be primarily experienced with client side work in Unity, and it would be great if you were able to contribute to server development. The studio is starting small, with a real family feel, so you’ll need to be comfortable performing a broad variety of relevant tasks.

But more than anything, we want someone who wants to be part of a great, diverse team and help create a fantastic culture that makes amazing games.

You'll fit in our flock if you want to:

  • Create a shared vision with a great team

  • Achieve both creative and commercial success

  • Great ability to solve technical problems creatively

  • Make this studio a happy and welcoming place to work
