As we ramp up the construction and installation of our Battery Research Centre (BRC) & Battery Cell Factory (BCF1) it is vital that we strengthen our IT Operations team to bring commitment and ownership to all of Morrow's IT Infrastructure.

We now have a new opportunity for a practical, innovative IT Network Engineer who will be the key resource for IT network infrastructure design, implementation, management and maintenance.

This position will also be the initial point of escalation from 1st level support for any IT networking matters, covering 2nd and 3rd level support with the IT Operations team, with a high involvement in capacity planning, business continuity, security and change management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administering our LAN, WAN, IT and OT networking infrastructure

  • Train and mentor 1st level support staff

  • IT/OT Infrastructure design, implementation, management, and maintenance

  • Managing the voice infrastructure

  • Monitoring of the network infrastructure and mitigation of issues and incidents

  • Help with developing and improving the services provided by the global IT team

  • Document procedures within IT Operations relevant to IT network infrastructure

  • Network capacity planning

Skills & Requirements

Education & Experience

Educational background in IT or other relevant educational backgrounds

  • 5+ years of experience working within IT

  • ITIL certification or understanding of ITIL methodology is preferred.

  • CCNA or CCNP certified

  • CCNA, NIST CSF and COBIT certifications are a plus

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or critical infrastructure is desirable

  • Experience from regulated industries a plus
