Job Description:

Manage the strategic launches for Hurtigruten HRN & HRX Seasonal releases across the
E-Commerce B2B & B2C channels. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning with brand,
market, e-commerce, and operations teams to ensure that product launches can be seamlessly
rolled out across the global and market organizations in an optimized manner to gain efficiencies
in content loading, pricing, merchandising, & SEO integration. The ideal candidate will have
relevant experience planning and executing successful e-commerce product launches and
possess strong program management skills, a passion to drive automation and continuous
process improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
including product management, business units, content teams, markets, sales, enablement, and
media partners.

Skills & Requirements

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

● 3-5+ years' experience in e-commerce project & product management (preferably including B2B & B2C)
● Solid customer-orientation and empathy
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
● Effective stakeholder management skills at the leadership level, as well as with
cross-functional teams
● Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable
insights as well as bringing together qualitative, competitive, and other information to
inform product direction
● Comfort with technical concepts and the ability to actively participate in technical
discussion, identify requirements and ask questions to ensure the right outcomes
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to hone in on where best to focus the team’s
effort (e.g. ability and interest in prioritizing ruthlessly)
● Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
● Experience leading projects that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross
functional teams

Key responsibilities & accountabilities
● Identify process improvement areas for optimization of the e-commerce organization and
● Establish and mange overview of all initiatives and make prioritization recommendations
based on business value
● Ensure necessary involvement and alignment with relevant stakeholders across the
organization for implementation of prioritized initiatives
● Project Manage E-Commerce projects, ensuring clear target setting and process
mapping for successful completion, keep teams accountable and on track
● Ensure frequent communication and close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
● Manage all elements of the e-commerce product launch process, including development
and integration of go-to-market plans and internal organization readiness.
● Work with product management to plan and consolidate all upcoming product and
features updates for release.
● Establish and develop relationships with product management, marketing, sales,
operations, IT/developer, partners, and customer success teams
● Participate in regular Launch Readiness Meetings with program stakeholders, executive
leadership, and coordinate e-commerce stakeholder support for these meetings.
Communicate required tasks, updates, & timelines.
● Assist in developing, delivering, automating and improving training and communications
content and materials.
● Continually assess launch risks and mitigation strategies.
● Establish and track a comprehensive set of e-commerce and B2B portal content, assets,
sales enablement, and outbound marketing deliverables required for a successful launch.
● Support product marketing and outbound marketing teams in the completion of
● Support the roll-out with all customer facing teams: Sales team, Customer service and
support teams
● Responsible for ensuring cross functional alignment & communication, tracking toward
launch milestones and overall readiness.
● Advocate for all market & ecommerce stakeholders throughout the release cycle to
ensure stakeholders have support needed to succeed
● Continued refinement of the digital launch process including developing best practices
and tools that drive efficient and effective cross-functional collaboration.
● Provide regular updates to all stakeholders, including OPS and executive management
teams from initial planning through to post launch reporting
● Develop processes and procedures for launching new offers leveraging best practices
and tools available
● Establish and track launch metrics and reporting, with a goal of continuous improvement
over time and with every launch
