Do you have experience working with social media and want to join the film industry? We are looking for a Project Manager Social Media to join our team in Stockholm! As Project Manager Social Media, your job will be to through social media activities create awareness and drive visitors to the cinemas for the specific films you are working on.
The Theatrical Distribution team in SF Studios is located in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. We are working with theatrical film releases – from contact with film producers to marketing activities and gala premieres. We are distributing our own film productions as well as external productions, ranging from local films, independent films to majors from Sony and MGM. We launch around 30-35 film titles in cinemas every year.
In the role of Project Manager Social Media, your job is to optimize social media channels and develop, plan and execute title-specific social media strategies in Sweden.
More specifically, you will:
Be overall responsible for SF Studios’ social media strategy in Sweden with all forms of communication, including responsibility for SF Studios' social media channels (this includes Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok and any future platforms)
Have operational responsibility for all plans on all platforms and films. You will also have close contact with media agencies and rights owners for optimization.
Follow and monitor the development within social media channels (e.g. user-generated content/comments), and take quick actions to make digital communication the best possible
Project managing social media activities for all titles with respect to the entire 360 social media plan (you own the social media activities from A – Z, incl. paid/earned/owned)
Generate content! Camera in hand - make sure to grab all opportunities to create fun, engaging and innovative social media extra materials around all projects (among others by being physically proactive and present on shootings, events, pre-screenings, premieres etc.)
Ordering all material needed to fulfill the social media strategy.
For local titles: developing, pitching, planning, and executing title/film-specific social media strategies and presentations on a strategic level as well as on an operational level and a creative level – from idea to finished plan
Create engaging and creative posts in accordance with your plans and execute competitions and other planned initiatives while keeping rights owners/producers informed and involved
Project manage content creation, campaign assets, and deadlines
An active member of the team to produce creative ideas and be a catalyst to lift marketing as a whole
In this role, you will report to SF Studios’ Head of Theatrical Distribution, Sweden. The role is located in Stockholm.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Bachelor’s degree or similar in marketing or social media
2-5 years relevant experience e.g., executing marketing projects, especially within digital marketing and social media and social media management through posting, communicating, and generating content.
Fluent in Swedish and English
Proven experience from creative work within social media and/or marketing both on a strategic and an operative level – knowledge of how to best communicate our films in social media channels
Experience with video/content creation
Great interest in films
