As a Program Portfolio manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day people management of project team members, overseeing and prioritizing the projects in the portfolio; follow established methodologies, are on-time, within budget/scope and result in a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, the Program Portfolio manager is responsible for proper utilization of resources, accurately forecasting project go-live dates, invoicing milestones and revenue recognition. In this position, you will:

  • Have fun!
  • Manage personnel within the portfolio, Hiring, dismissing, development planning, performance appraisals and resource planning based on utilization, backlog and sales forecasts
  • Be an escalation point for the portfolio team members and drive prioritization within the team
  • Effectively manage portfolio backlog and cycle times
  • Accurately forecast portfolio projects revenue recognition and invoicing tasks in coordination with Finance department
  • Participate in Statement of Work (SOW) creation with new projects and for Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Request for Information (RFI)
  • Present Sectra methodology to prospective customers

Think you’ve got what it takes? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related industry experience
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a program or portfolio manager
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a People leader
  • Successful management of large, multi-facility, enterprise projects
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure/IT
  • Also nice to have:
  • Speak more languages than those required above, particularly French
  • Have a PMP certification
  • Know Scrum for Deployment
  • Have a working knowledge of PACS/Radiology/DICOM and HL-7
  • Have experience with other cultures
  • Are innovative, drive change and look for improvements
  • Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd
