Working as a software engineer
Our software engineers ensure that Sectra can deliver products with the right features, which solve the right problems for our end-users by designing, programming, testing, maintaining and evaluating software solutions. We want our solutions to be perceived as easy-to-use, future-proof and effective, and pride ourselves in truly understanding our customers' environment.
Our development team is organized into an agile, self-organized group with a shared passion for technology who together are responsible for both the design, implementation, and quality of our products. Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

We take what we do seriously and prioritize the work ourselves after input from customers and stakeholders at Sectra. However, we like to have fun as well and want and encourage all our employees to explore their own ideas. For example, every six weeks, a two day “RAD-Friday” is arranged where all our engineers have the opportunity to work on their own ideas. Ideas that often are incorporated into our products.
Take this opportunity to also work with different cultures. We have customers in over 60 countries, and a team that consists of colleagues from Sweden, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, Italy, Hungary, China and South Africa.
