We are looking for an outstanding Sales Manager, passionate with Telco, Media & TV business and digital transformation and willing to be part of an international company as Agile Content with a huge growth in the last years.

Agile Content offers to customers (Telco´s, Broadcasters, Content Providers and DTV operators…) an end-to-end OTT/IPTV product portfolio from backend tools, Origin, CDN to apps for different device types, and allows a wide integration with thirds parties products. Our company is based on flexible business models to adapt to the changing TV & Media market conditions and customer needs.

Role purpose and key tasks

Sales Manager will support Agile Content´s Customers and Partners by managing Sales in Spain. This role may also support coordination for large or complex proactive sales proposals.

• Designing a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of your organization, knowing your company’s operating and profit margins and understanding the clients’ specific requirements and business needs.
• Manage the region forecast with accuracy and accountability.
• Managing the completion of proposals in line with company´s proposal processes and applying best practices, ensuring proposals are customer focused and articulate value.
• Communicating with designated subject matter experts to develop and write non-standard responses to RFP questions.
• Maintain professional working relationships with internal areas out of the sales team and identified function groups such as HR, Marketing, Legal, IT, Security, Product and Operations, that will need to be involved in the bid process.
• Involved in negotiation with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractors, aside with other company areas: product, R&D, etc.
• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of all company products and services and their corresponding value proposition.
• Improve Agile Content market share in the region.

Technologies

• Well understanding of OTT ecosystem and the components that conform this type of solutions: Backend, Apps, STBs, CDN, Origin, DRM, Players, Apps, etc.
• To have OTT, IPTV, Video, Media industry experience
• Know-how of Encoding, Transcoding, 3rd party players into the TV ecosystem etc.

You must have:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience working as Sales Manager, managing complex Sales, SW and Cloud expertise and Media/Broadcasters Customers.
• Technical University degree (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Management or similar) with business or finance background.
• Experience working into TV business, Media industries or Telecom.
• Strong passion for TV & Media technologies.
• Experience in bid process for B2B and B2B2C businesses.
• Familiar with different commercial models as Subscription, SaaS, Pay-Per-Use and so on.
• Demonstrable experience in prepare a business case for several years and get the main proposal finance metrics.
• Proficiency skills in excel.
• Proficiency communication skills in English is mandatory.

Good to have experience in:

• Experience in legal bid topics reviews
• Know-how of OTT/IPTV ecosystems operation/services
• Involved in previous SaaS commercial models preparation.
• Know-how on cloud environment and associated pricing model
