Schibsted aims to be a leading e-commerce and distribution company in the Nordics, and to achieve this goal, we are looking for a full-stack developer to help us develop a data-driven distribution platform.

You will be responsible for developing applications that are empowering many real-life use-cases. Within the next five years, we aim to become the leading Nordic distribution company and become carbon neutral. We regard this role as crucial for us to succeed.

As a part of Schibsted, you will also have the opportunity to share knowledge and learn from other developers and engineers across the organization. We are Transport Tech, a team of Enterprise Application Developers who build solutions for our clients. We focus on developing technologies that solve real-life problems and improve our operations.

As a team, we are open to coming up with joint solutions to our problems with other teams, both internal and external. Our preferred way of collaboration is through open source projects, where we can establish a model as described by the Schibsted Open Source Strategy.

We are a team of specialists that work on projects. Projects can be new products or improvements to existing ones.

We are clear that not all problems can be solved through technology. We make sure to understand what the problem is before we propose a technical solution.

We are a DevOps team responsible for deploying, maintaining, and operating our systems.

Our tech stack is based on Kubernetes and micro-services. Our microservices are written using Java 17 and Spring Boot. We use Thymeleaf and React for our frontends.

We are an agile team, and we are able to deploy our microservices several times a day! If needed, we can write and deploy a new microservice in less than one hour.
