In our efforts to increase direct support to our customers and balance the workload for our remote engineers, Sectra utilizes an engineer to work on-site for key accounts for a customer in South Carolina.

This position is located on-site at the customer, in the Charleston, South Carolina area. We would require this individual to work on-site only one week out of the month. The remainder of the weeks can be remote-based. The customer is a key account and close development partner for Sectra, and one of the most prestigious installations for Sectra in North America. You may also be required to participate in the installation and service of our equipment and other duties as needed as a team member of our Customer Service Support department.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide Sectra expertise as the customer becomes familiar with the product
  • Maintain and monitor the health of the PACS and report status to the customer daily
  • Participate in meetings and activities pertaining to the sales, support, and implementation of Sectra solutions
  • Initiate, update and close Service Tickets on behalf of the customer(s) with system-related problems and requests
  • Collaboratively analyze and troubleshoot customer problems
  • Be responsible for ongoing status reporting to Support Management for both technical and customer issues
  • Take a self-directed leadership role, in close collaboration with their manager, in the repair and resolution of technical issues while working at customer sites

Skills & Requirements

For this position, the following requirements apply:

  • 3+ years experience and a university education in Engineering science or IT with strong academic standing
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Excellent customer interaction and communication skills
  • Experience with Windows, MS SQL Server, DICOM, and HL7
  • Experience with Vmware and VCE
  • Experience with computer networking

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:

  • Experience with Healthcare IT, PACS, and Sectra PACS as well as radiology workflow
  • Experience with Sectra PACS user/GUI interface
  • Speak more languages than those required above
  • Have experience with other cultures
  • Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing, or flying as examples

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
