Integration Engineer, Project Portfolio

We’re looking for one of our Best People to step into an Integration Engineer role within a project portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who has been with Sectra for at least one year and has experience working in a customer or project portfolio. It’s a great next step for someone ready to take on more technical challenges and grow into mid-level responsibilities in the interoperability space.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, problem-solving team that helps design and implement HL7, DICOM, and other system interfaces that directly impact patient care.

In this role, you will:

  • Help design, build, and troubleshoot interfaces between Sectra and third-party systems
  • Assist in managing the integration and interface portions of implementation projects
  • Support data integrity checks across systems
  • Participate in testing and validating interfaces against project requirements
  • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions
  • Build third-party application integrations (e.g., using URL, XML, API, or JSON)
  • Grow into performing customer trainings and technical deep dives as needed

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have at least 6 months of experience at Sectra, ideally working in a customer or project portfolio
  • Have a strong interest in technical problem-solving and customer-facing work
  • Be comfortable with (or eager to learn) HL7, DICOM, XML, or scripting basics
  • Be organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation and process
  • Be willing to work occasional after-hours shifts for project go-lives
  • Demonstrate a collaborative attitude and a growth mindset
  • Be fluent in English

Nice-to-haves (not required to apply):

  • Experience with 3rd party integrations such as Powerscribe and Epic integrations
  • Exposure to Mirth, SQL, scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell), or data migration tools
  • Experience supporting customer implementations or technical troubleshooting

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
