You will assist in the end-to-end contracting process within Sectra Australia. You will review, negotiate and manage contracts and change notices entered into with customers and suppliers ensuring they are in the best interests of Sectra both commercially and legally.

In this position, you will:

  • Have a good understanding of Sectra products and the technical and clinical solutions we delivery, keeping yourself up to date on all future product
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of different types of contracts and change notices
  • Negotiate all contracts with a view to ensuring it is fair and reasonable and as far as is practicable mitigate all identified risks
  • Liaise with our outsourced legal team, seeking opinion and guidance where necessary
  • Good workload management and prioritisation to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Take a lead in collaboration with all internal stakeholders both locally in the country operation and the Sectra AB senior management
  • Ensure that full documentation and audit trail is maintained as per process

To thrive in this role, you need to have an understanding of IT environments so that you can communicate efficiently and understand customer requests. You must be service-minded, enjoy adapting to changing circumstances, be able to handle strict deadlines and be looking for an opportunity to take initiative. We think you have strong leadership and communication skills and are able to collaborate with different people. You must be extremely structured and enjoy planning. You also need to be an effective problem-solver. To build trust among our customers, you need to have an understanding and/or experience of IT environments. You will need to handle customer communication independently and efficiently, including communication with IT departments, security experts and other stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements

At Sectra, we hire for attitude and ability – train for skill. This means who you are is more important than your previous experiences. There are a few core abilities that are central for any role. We always look for your willingness and ability to learn and take on new tasks fast, utilize previous experiences and quickly grasp new information. We also want you to have a strong analytical mindset in which we consider it to be important that you can understand and break down and solve problems. We also want you to be a good communicator where you can interact with colleagues, partners and customers in an effective, clear and constructive way.

In addition to these abilities, we also want you to:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Political or Economic subjects with strong academic standing
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to operate in a technical and very professional sales environment
  • Good overall business acumen (market understanding, business planning, ability to build value-based customer relationships, results-focused) with know and/or experience of our business area (legislation, contractual rules, etc.)
  • Ability to discuss issues at a high strategic level with decision-makers in hospital management
  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Strong drive to improve and enhance the efficiency of our customers’ everyday work

We consider it a great asset if you:

  • Have managed, or negotiated, complex service provision contracts
  • ITIL and Prince2 qualifications
  • Have experience from working with IT in the healthcare sector
  • Speak more languages than those required above
  • Have experience of other cultures
  • Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying as examples
