The opportunity

As the company is rapidly growing and scaling across international borders, Upsales is now looking for a top performer with a strong drive and creative goal-oriented mindset to be a key player in our expanding product team. In order to support our international growth we want to create best-in-class platform for the rest of Upsales developers to build upon.

As a platform engineer you are responsible for establishing best practices when it comes to the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, logging etc. and packaging these so that every developer easily can set up new microservices.

Key responsibilities

  • Spread knowledge to other developers in the organizations on what tools are available for them to use and how to use them
  • Ensure that all of our services are built to be scalable, highly available and secure __

  • Build and maintain an internal developer platform to visualize and collect all services in one place

Who are you

  • You have 2+ years of experience building highly scalable applications
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure and databases such as MySQL and Elasticsearch

  • Self-motivator who likes to take responsibility and ownership and run their own projects from start to finish
