JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a exceptionally driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a committed and dedicated team player with excellent customer service skills, highly organized, extremely detailed, a positive can-do attitude and the ability to build and maintain good vendor and employee relations. The ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential for this role.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain various Accounts Payable in boxes on a daily basis to ensure that all invoices, credit memos, and as well as other AP inquiries are properly addressed
  • Manage day-to-day procure to pay cycle, managing the processing of vendor invoices, employee expenses, prepare global payments, posting payments, bank statements etc.
  • Route invoices for approval thru NetSuite
  • Initiation of HSBC ACH payments, posting wires in NS & creation of new wire templates
  • Process international currency payments
  • Ensure all invoices and expense reports are coded to the correct general ledger, department, and business unit accounts
  • Strong knowledge of processing international invoices & wire payments
  • Resolve discrepancies and follow up with vendors and internal business approvers in a timely manner with any concerns
  • Prepare monthly AP subledger reconciliations to GL in Blackline
  • Responsible for auditing and issue resolution for Workday expenses
  • Cross train and backup to Global AP staff
  • Maintaining adherence to business process controls
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience (in years):

  • BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2+ years practical work experience in Accounts Payable in a high growth, fast paced environment

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Netsuite AP is required
  • Experience with international banking, multi-currency payments
  • Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Thrives in a growing organization with excellent attention to detail, follow up, critical thinking and analysis
  • True team player, ability to work effectively with peers and other department
  • Experience with NetSuite and Workday Expense, highly desirable
  • A good understanding of the purchasing process and purchase order lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of AP best practices and system integrations.
  • High levels of personal and professional integrity in the handling of confidential information
  • Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Mid- to advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office product suite (ex: Outlook, Word, Excel)
