Our Employee Services Lead will spend her near future focusing on family projects, so we are looking for a person to take over many of our HR and employee services tasks in Finland and Romania. You will act as a contact point for managers and all Sievonians in many different areas of HR. We are looking for a person with some experience already, but we don’t expect that you know all areas of responsibility from day one. We’ll support you to grow fully into your role.

You will be a part of Sievo's People & IT team, a collaborative, friendly group of humans from different backgrounds. We help each other, laugh together, make things happen, fail together, like spending time together and trust each other. With us, you’ll have a lot of freedom, but you will always get help if needed.

In this role you will

  • Be the payroll contact person in Finland & Romania

  • Provide payroll materials to our external service providers

  • Collaborate with our Finance team to create accurate salary reports

  • Act as contact point for Sievonians in payroll matters

  • Be our main contact for occupational healthcare and employee well-being

  • Co-operate with our healthcare providers Terveystalo & Auntie

  • Support Sievonians with healthcare and work ability matters

  • Support managers with employment questions

  • Co-operate with Pension insurance providers

  • Act as our occupational safety officer and co-operate with our health & safety committee

  • Oversee the finalization of our on-going office renovation project.

  • Administrate our HR and working time tracking systems and train Sievonians in using them.

  • Represent Sievo’s People team in information security matters.

  • Help employees relocating to Finland both with immigration processes and moving practicalities.

  • Develop your areas of responsibility and find ways to improve the way things are done.

What would give you an easier start in your new role

  • Being a solid communicator

  • Customer service attitude

  • Ability to organize your own work

  • Having an education in HR or relevant field

  • Having experience with payroll, occupational health and safety, Finnish employment law, or international mobility – we don’t expect you to know all of these areas
  • Fluent Finnish skills – this job requires collaboration with multiple external Finnish service providers and authorities
