We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join DealDash’ dynamic and globally operating team. You can either be a promising talent in the following responsibilities or an already experienced professional in the field.
As (Junior) Legal Counsel at DealDash your responsibilities will include for example:
Collaborating with external legal counsels
Creating the group companies' resolution documents
Localizing resolution documents in various countries with the help of local experts
Implementing share transactions with the company's shares and the upkeep of cap tables
Upkeeping corporate registrations in various jurisdictions
Matters of employment law such as the creation of work agreements to the extent current expertise allows
Renewing and acquiring corporate insurance with the help of an insurance broker, with a high level of judgment needed over coverage and expense
Based on your background and interests, you will also be able to take action in areas such as risk management, tax compliance or contract negotiations. As this is a new role in the organization, your responsibilities can be altered based on your expertise and you’ll have great opportunities to develop your competencies and your responsibilities - We’re now looking for someone who is passionate to grow with DealDash in the longer term.
We don’t expect you to know everything beforehand and you’ll be able to utilize external counsels, but we highly appreciate your results-oriented approach to new challenges and eagerness to constantly grow your expertise.
We expect you to:
Have a relevant Master’s degree in Law or Business Law, or you are currently finishing your degree
Be equipped with great team working skills, yet you’re capable of working independently and making decisions
Have an accurate and open minded working attitude with great problem solving and information retrieval skills - we appreciate your curiosity and ideas to improve our way to work!
Be fully proficient in English
We consider as an asset:
Relevant working experience, preferably with business contracts related responsibilities
Knowledge of Finnish employment legislation
