Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces is recruiting for a Product Manager to join our number one generalist marketplace DBA.

For many years the online market for buying and selling used goods was ruled by simple classifieds models for local peer-to-peer deals. But as consumer needs and behaviours shift towards more tailored and frictionless experiences, our Nordic Marketplaces need to change our models too. We are now launching a new Recommerce vertical across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, with a joint force and focus on sustainability as a real solution to overconsumption. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to have an impact on people and the planet.

Each and every day, we help millions of people buy and sell both new and preloved items. Our purpose for the Recommerce vertical is to power the infinite use of all goods. We will make circular consumption the instinctive choice - for consumers, businesses, and investors.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing:

As our Product Manager in the Next-Gen squad, you will help us deliver on the mission of building a transactional journey for next-generation consumers and businesses. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, design, development, launch, measurement, and iterations. You will be exploring key opportunities for growth, creating a stellar customer experience, and supporting all aspects of the business. You are dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences and improve existing products.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services & product experiences that our users love. You will work with Design, Engineering, Insights & Analytics, Business Development, Marketing, Legal and Finance, to name just a few. If you are passionate about innovative product ideas and believe in the impact of technology and services oriented platforms to delight users and build long term sustainable businesses then you are looking at the right opportunity.

About you:

  • You have +3 years PM experience in a digital, fast-paced environment, working with Product, Engineering and Design teams.
  • Experience with e-commerce is preferred.
  • You want to work in an agile development environment, alongside work within an empowered product team with a high degree of autonomy in decision-making.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable communicating with people at all levels and a motivated mindset to move things forward
  • You can take vague situations and shape them into processes and concepts
  • An ability to take a ‘hands-on’ approach to quickly bring structure and clarity to complex situations across the Product & Tech organisation.
  • First hand experience with A/B testing is a plus, comfort in working at a company where data and insights are heavily leveraged in decision making is a requirement.
  • You are a culture builder - you support diverse and inclusive culture building.

This role will preferably be located in our Aarhus office, but we have an office in Copenhagen as well. We offer either office-based or hybrid options with regular travel to the office.
