ABOUT THE TEAM
As a part of the Shared Product and Platform, the iOS App team’s mission is to create native brilliance for the leading news-media brands in Sweden and Norway.
On a daily basis, we work closely with product and UX.
We are building 14 apps from one code base with a variety of features per app. Our apps are not just clones with different colours and fonts. We maintain a clean codebase that allows us to introduce and experiment with new ideas.
We are a distributed team - daily we collaborate through the VC and twice per year we gather together to meet face to face. Focus on communication and transparency is essential for us.
In such a complex environment, an error is inevitable. We fix our mistakes fast and learn from them.
Growth, feedback and honesty are crucial for us.
Mob and pair programming are tools for us that we love to use for advanced cases.

ABOUT THE ROLE
With many new challenges around native brilliance, we are looking for YOU! - a passionate iOS Developer to join our team
You will be part of a team of passionate engineers with great attention to detail and code quality.
We are a distributed team located in Cracow, Stockholm and Warsaw. On a daily basis, we collaborate with core developers and brands developers from Poland, Sweden and Norway.
In this role, you will be working with Swift programming language on a mature project where there is no place for the status quo.
We are working with a mix of scrum and kanban adjusted for our needs. We have two weeks of release cycles with a highly automated setup for releasing 14 apps at once.
Pull requests and feedback is essential to our team. We are safeguarding the great quality of our apps (99.98% crash-free rate). We use unit tests and snapshot tests. We use GitHub and Travis (willing to replace them with GitHub Actions soon)
Architectural and design patterns for iOS development are something you are familiar with.
You care about quality and you know how to test your code - you know XCTest. Youwant to explore SwiftUI* and early adopt new iOS features in a mature project.
It’s ok for you to fluently communicate in English. Experiencewithtracking, setting up experiments* and working together with data scientists is a big plus.
You are methodical and focused on problem-solving. You value quality over quick hacks.
It would be great if you have experience with media playback, memory and performance tuning, CI/CD and you are not afraid to grow outside of the iOS box.
