About Capgemini

Capgemini is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services. The Group is at the forefront of innovation to address the entire breadth of clients’ opportunities in the evolving world of cloud, digital and platforms. Building on its strong 50-year+ heritage and deep industry-specific expertise, Capgemini enables organizations to realize their business ambitions through an array of services from strategy to operations. Capgemini is driven by the conviction that the business value of technology comes from and through people. Today, it is a multicultural company of over 340,000 team members in 50+ countries.

Our Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) practice specializes in the development of custom solutions and system integrations for our clients. To achieve this, we leverage traditional development languages like Java or low code platforms, use dedicated API management tooling such as Azure APIM and use cloud-based integration platforms (iPaaS) such as MuleSoft.

Today’s enterprise IT landscapes are increasingly complex, with both on-premise and cloud applications and a mix of legacy and modern cloud solutions. Enterprise integration has been recognized as a top priority for almost all companies. In 2021 Capgemini Belgium set up an integration competence center within the C&CA practice that focusses on just that. We have expertise in various domains such as API development, API management and iPaaS.

Our Integration competence center is part of a much larger community of several hundreds of integration experts (developers, architects) in Europe and thousands globally.

We are now looking for an API integration Tech Lead/Architect with several years of experience to grow our team of integration experts. You will work on integration development projects that include but may not be limited to MuleSoft technologies.

  • Experienced in at least one development language: Java or .NET

  • At least 1 year of experience with integration technologies such as the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Boomi, Apigee, Azure APIM.

  • An existing MuleSoft certification would be a plus but is not necessary. Motivation to get certified is more important.

  • Practical experience of the complete software development life cycle and project life cycle including Release Management, Testing and Deployment is a must.
  • Strong analytical and solution design abilities

Soft skills

  • Professional communication skills in Dutch and English, and knowledge of French is a plus
  • Experienced working in (agile) development teams
  • Proven client handling experience and able to communicate with customers
  • Eager to learn and adapt new technologies, concepts and methodologies
  • Problem solving skills, analytical skills and "making it work' mentality
