Sambla group is growing and we are establishing a Corporate Communications function and are now looking for a Head of Corporate Communication who will lead this function! In the role you will develop and implement a communications and PR strategy and policies for Sambla Group that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand, and be the company spokesperson towards media and own media relationships. Further on you will lead the ESG agenda, be project leader for ESG initiatives with sponsorship from Chief Corporate Development Officer and have ownership of ESG related communication. The role will also, in connection with HR, set employer branding strategy and lead related initiatives.
Further on, this role will include but not be limited to:
Own corporate communication via Sambla Group’s owned channels, e.g. Sambla Group website and social media
Ensure preparedness for crises through setting policies, defining ownership and responsibilities for crisis mode
Develop and execute executive visibility programs that incorporate speaking engagements, paid and owned media engagements, as well as visibility in digital channels
Responsible for defining and carrying out media training for relevant colleagues
Compose and distribute press releases for the group
Support and work together with executive leadership in developing important corporate messages
Set overall communication framework for Sambla Group, influencing communication on brand level but does not work directly with campaigns, branding etc. for the group’s consumer brands
Lead internal communication programs to employees on important corporate developments
Build and develop a leading Corporate Communications and PR function in line with highest industry standards
Are you our new Head of Corporate Communication? We are looking for someone who has great expertise developing corporate communications plans aligning internal, external and stakeholder communications against business priorities. Has a track record of successfully managing communications during times of crisis and has experience counseling executives in crisis situations. Attention to detail is critical. Also we see that you have experience and proven track record of managing media relations and relationships, with experience engaging reporters on a regular basis.

Experience producing and distributing press releases
In-house and agency experience
Experience from working with regulatory frameworks and their impact on communications strategy and policies
Experience managing teams
Must have:
Excellent ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing across multiple disciplines. Can synthesize large amounts of data and distill key points clearly, succinctly and quickly.
Fluent in Swedish and English
Skilled at using social media, digital content creation to advance business priorities and amplify the corporate narrative
Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative
Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often on short deadlines.
Understanding of how to use data and research to drive efforts, make data-based decisions
Nice to have:
Experience in payments, financial services or fintech is a plus.
ESG experience is a plus
Experience from other Nordic markets (esp. Finland) is a plus
Employer branding experience is a plus
