We are now looking for a transformational Global Head of Talent Acquisition to take full ownership of how we engage, attract and inspire amazing people to join Hurtigruten across our global locations.

As Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll be responsible for the strategy, the processes and deliverables required to transform Hurtigruten's global TA functions and deliver our strategic talent acquisition objectives.

Starting from the strategic direction defined in conjunction with the Executive Leadership you will articulate the transformation activities ensuring our TA programmes are set up for success with robust governance and clear prioritisation.

The Global Head of TA will play a pivotal enablement role focusing on hands-on change delivery and building our global TA functions to support growth across our key markets Europe, APAC and the US.

You will be the innovator and driving force behind our vision to be an employer of choice and a beacon for Talent within our industry.

Skills & Requirements

Key areas of focus

  • Manage, lead and develop a team of cross-functional and geo-based, high performing Talent Acquisition professionals through mentorship and coaching:

  • Create and share best practices within your team, as well as broadly within the organization to ensure that Hurtigrutens resourcing is highly effective and valued.

  • Be a trusted advisor, and coach to senior business leaders on:

    • Recruitment and talent / workforce strategies; including learning opportunities for hiring managers, ensuring best and leading-edge practices.

    • Effective interviewing strategies and value of both in-house and search firm capabilities.

  • Leading and contributing to a wide range of transformation and continuous improvement projects across:

    • Strategic Workforce Planning / Demand Planning

    • TA Tech - Assessment, Implementation and/or Architecture

    • TA Operating Model

    • Deployment of assessment capability

    • Design & deployment of new TA processes

  • Help establish and deliver a consistent approach to measuring TA metrics / KPIs across the business

  • Maintain and communicate TA effectiveness by robust data and metric tools producing TA documentation and deep TA analytics and insights to ‘c-suite’

  • Be up to date with trends, skills shortages and general employment mobility data.

  • Working with Talent Operations team you will create an exceptional candidate experience that represents Hurtigruten’s employee experience.

Abilities

  • Prior experience in a substantial ‘Head of’ or ‘Director’ role leading in-house TA functions –

  • Strong transformation project leadership with an ability to operate in a logical and systematic way - comfortable with managing complexity and ambiguity.

  • Experience in embedding TA processes and managing change

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
