Northvolt is looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to educate internal employees in our technological field. You will develop and deliver world class technical training programs and help others develop needed technical skills for them to execute as professionals in their respective roles.

About the job
As a Technical Trainer you must be knowledgeable in Northvolt’s field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. You are an early adopter to new technical innovations and you are eager to learn more.

Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent trainer and communicator, able to explain complex processes and machines into simple and clear concepts in an interesting way. You have insight in basic learning principles and the know-how to utilise them.

The goal is to contribute to the development of people’s technical skill sets to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define and deliver technical training programs according to organizational requirements, learning objectives and business needs
  • Develop and prepare needed training material for both theory and practical sessions
  • Execute training sessions in various formats (e.g. classroom, webinars, workshops)
  • Ensure that technical lab equipment used in the training session are maintained
  • Evaluate results of training programs to constantly develop and improve the material

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience as technical trainer
  • Depending of education - advance level of mechanical knowledge (pneumatic & hydraulic systems, bearings, pumps, gear drive units etc.) or advance electrical knowledge (control units, PLC's programming, reading of electrical diagrams etc.)
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing and development of technical course content
  • Ability to address training needs based on business goals and learning objectives
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
  • Excellent skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge in MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Degree in a relevant technical field
