Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Business Analyst to join our passionate team in Skellefteå. The person we are looking for is a solution driven business process and requirement analyst with a Business Intelligence experience and background.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The role is a part of our IT & Digitalization team based in Skellefteå, Sweden. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing our IT & Digitalization business processes and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job
As a Business Process and Requirements Analyst you will be responsible for establishing a framework for gathering IT & Digitalization system business requirements based on the core business process. This includes defining, mapping, fulfilling, and measuring the fulfilment of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You will also work with establishing, documenting, and updating our business processes based on global and local needs. Part of the role may also be to work with requirement gathering on Business Intelligence reports and development of those reports. We work mainly with Microsoft Power BI and the Power Platform.

As part of ensuring that the business requirements are fulfilled, you will also establish and execute user acceptance testing plans.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Developing and implementing standardized business requirement framework.
  • Planning and executing user acceptance testing to ensure that the systems perform in the real world at the level that we require.
  • Ensuring that core Business processes are documented and aligned within the organization.
  • Developing and run trainings for super users across the systems that you are responsible for.
  • Managing communication with key stakeholders including developing reports and dashboards to measure project status.
  • Creating reports related to KPI’s, adoption, improvements and similar.

The person we are looking for is flexible, curios and eager to learn. You should have a sound knowledge of business processes within the manufacturing industry and experience working with ERP Processes such as requirements definition, user acceptance testing and user training. An excellent business process and requirement analyst will be someone whose expertise translates into the realization of our business's long-term objectives.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have

  • A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
  • 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)
  • Has experience in working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc.)
  • Has worked ideally in similar business area and interfaced with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiar with ERP applications

Specific skills

  • Working experience with an ERP system, Dynamics, SAP or others
  • User Acceptance test plan
  • End user training material
  • Power BI or other Analytical Tools
