We are looking for a dedicated Installation Manager, to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Construction Team team based in Skellefteå.
The role:
The Installation Manager supervises the construction activities assigned to third party contractors, and ensures compliance with schedule, costs, quality, health, safety and environmental protection requirements.
Specifically the Instrumentation & Controls Installation Manager, shall have solid background in installation and pre-commissioning of instrumentation and cabling for plant monitoring and process control systems as well as data & fiber networking. Relevant experience in HMI, PLC, DCS, SCADA, SIS, network switches needed.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: ``
Supporting the CM, in close collaboration with the project organization of the Main Contractor for the Engineering & Procurement phase, in preparing and updating of construction schedules that meet Northvolt’s project objectives;
Ensuring the most suitable solutions in terms of assembly sequences, works scheduling, constructability, feasibility, etc.;
Coordinating the site activities of contractors in collaboration with Main Contractor, with particular attention to interfaces with other ongoing projects and departments within Northvolt Ett site.
Checking construction progress weekly, identifying any critical aspects and requesting the necessary actions from the Contractor concerned;
Checking the adequacy of personnel and equipment belonging to the contractors, promoting any actions required to achieve objectives
Interfacing with Northvolt Proprietary/Main Equipment vendors, including reviewing their documentation for compliance as well as installation and integration at site.
Verifying that works are correctly carried out, in accordance with project documentation, notifying Engineering of any engineering problems encountered in the field
Attending the tests, controls and inspections carried out by the Main Contractor and it sub-contractors, checking conformity required by Northvolt specifications, European Directives and National Standards (including ATEX where applicable);
Ensuring the orderly collection and management of written records of inspections, controls and test results by Main Contractor for the purpose of approvals of mechanically completed plant systems;
Participating in determining corrective actions and then ensuring correct implementation of the activities for resolving cases of nonconformity;
Facilitate the handover of completed systems to the Northvolt Commissioning and/or Facilities teams.
Ensuring, with the support of the Northvolt HSE Team the field control of HSE aspects, also with reference to activities developed by Contractors/Suppliers;
Notifying the CM of problems and deviations that cannot be settled directly
* Assisting the CM and Project Manager with tasks related to Change Management, including problems concerning claims or price revisions submitted by the contractors.

We believe that you have :
Education: University degree in Electrical or Automation or Electronics Engineering
Professional Experience:
10 years of experience in industrial construction projects
small power experience, point to point testing, Loop Check testing, tubing experience, cable termination and glanding (hazardous area), understanding instrument hook up details and tray installation detailed drawings.
Foundation fieldbus execution for field instrumentation
Experience in both pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with AB04 (general conditions of contract for building & civil engineering works & building services in Sweden)
Familiarity with ABT06 (general conditions of contract for design & construct contracts for building, civil engineering and installation works in Sweden)
Certifications:
Heta Arbeten Permit Issuer (hot works loss prevention) course highly valued
Work at height, MEWP, safe lifting and Scaffold <9m training certifications highly valued
